Living Stories, as part of Bound by the Book, group exhibition

In this current series the existence of hard copies of books transcend all ages, and the impact of the 

digital era is as yet unseen here. 

This is much like the older forms of photography surviving and being seen as different and 

elegant compared to the new digital technologies accessible to all of us.    

Reflected Reading, Selected passages from the novel 'The Bell Jar' by Sylvia Plath

My first reading of the Bell Jar cannot be remembered within a time frame, only in the memory 

of the words of intimacy, beauty, and of the semi-autobiographical nature of the book. 

From present experiences memories of the passages, came to mind and then the possibility of 

setting visual examples of the evocative words.

The mood and emotions of the Bell Jar are intertwined with the subtle shading of natural light, 

encouraging different ways of interpreting each image.
